Archimedes, the XXII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies, will run March 26-29, at Pavilion 2 of the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center.
The event's mission is to support the emergence of new products and services by encouraging invention, patenting, licensing, and innovation.
The 2018 installment of Archimedes brought together more than 250 organizations from 26 countries as well as from 55 regions of the Russian Federation. Together, they showcased more than 700 inventions and innovative technologies.
All exhibits on display at Archimedes are selected and evaluated by the event's expert and jury board. Top entries are honored with gold, silver, and bronze medals as well as with special prizes and awards from Russian and international organizations.
The event's grand prize, the Golden Archimedes, is awarded to outstanding inventions and innovative projects.
Archimedes is a starting ground for breakthrough technologies. Up to 80% of intellectual outcomes showcased at the event become commercial products, thus strengthening its reputation as a must-attend for anyone at the forefront of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
