Entrants will compete in six categories. Famous entrepreneurs and public figures will pick winners.
Only six days are left before the deadline for applications to the entrepreneurial Breakthrough of the Year award. Submissions are accepted online until 11.59 p.m. of April 15. To date, 20 thousand applications have been submitted.
Winners will be selected in nine categories. The most popular of them is the Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Grand Prix of the Year – awarded to companies with highest growth rates – has the second largest number of applicants. The third most popular category is the Socially Responsible Business of the Year. It honors entrepreneurs focused on improving the quality of life in Moscow and making the city more accessible and inclusive.
Other categories include Honorable Startup of the Year (for entrepreneurs above 55 years of age), Mom Entrepreneur of the Year (for mothers with children under 18 years of age), Comeback of the Year (for companies that managed to succeed after losses), Franchise of the Year (for franchisees), Exporter of the Year, and International Entrepreneur of the Year.
Assisting the participants and choosing the best projects will be ambassadors of the award. Among them are game store chain founder Dmitry Kibkalo, writer Alexander Tsypkin, public activist Tatyana Butskaya, and others.
