Moscow to Share E-Procurement Experiences at Russia Investment Forum

Moscow will set up a suppliers' lounge at the Russian Investment Forum on February 14-15 in Sochi.

Visitors will learn about Moscow's successful procurement practices and technological novelties applied to public contract bidding.

The lounge will be dedicated to the Moscow Suppliers Portal and the competitive opportunities it provides to parties involved in public procurement contracts. Representatives of regional companies that have already taken advantage of the portal will share their experiences with attendees.

Manufacturers and entrepreneurs interested in selling their products to Moscow-based government customers will be offered consultations on e-procurement.

Continuously upgraded technological opportunities and new solutions enable the Moscow Suppliers Portal to make procurement activities more efficient. With its user-friendly design, the portal attracts newcomers to the market. In 2018, the number of organizations registered at the portal grew 60% year-on-year to reach 50,000. The average initial maximum price per contract declined by 13%.
