Moscow's School No. 1535 and the Moscow Agency of Innovations have announced an open challenge for innovative solutions that will help create convergent laboratories for 7th-11th grade students.
As a long-time leader in Moscow's education system, School No. 1535 is interested in including research-based learning methodologies in the educational process in order to create a continuous convergent education system in natural sciences.
In addition to typical classroom studies, students need to obtain skills that they can apply in real life. Students need to have the ability to participate in real research activities, work on personal projects that will help them chose a career path; gain communication skills, social interaction, and adaptation experiences. These are the kinds of opportunities that can become available to students with true “living labs” (interactive school labs) fitted out with advanced hi-tech equipment.
Participation is open to projects at various stages of development – from ideas to complete products. Small and medium innovative companies, entrepreneurs, research teams, and individual scientists are encouraged to apply.
Submissions will be evaluated by a dedicated jury comprised of representatives of the Moscow Agency of Innovations, School No. 1535, executive authorities, and industry organizations.
