This year's first Days Without Turnstiles have been scheduled for February 7-9. Taking place across multiple Moscow locations, including technology parks and offices of innovative companies, the events will run under the theme “Creating the Future.”
Visitors will have a chance to participate in guided tours and workshops. The Trajektoriya Vzleta technology park will offer its guests a chance to operate very small drones capable of sending real-time video to augmented reality glasses. Panorama 360, the highest observation in Europe, will offer free admission.
The Day Without Turnstiles initiative provides an opportunity to learn about advanced manufacturing technologies and cutting-edge innovations. It also gives people a chance to see how some of our everyday products are made.
The first Day Without Turnstiles was held in 2012, with about 600 people visiting eight local companies. Since then, more than 70,000 people and over 120 innovative production facilities in Moscow have taken part in the initiative. The previous Day Without Turnstiles took place in December and involved over 35 companies and more than 5,000 people.
