The innovation cluster will bring together business incubators, technology parks, universities, R&D organizations, and IT companies.
During a recent meeting, members of the presidium of the Moscow Government discussed and approved the draft bill “On Moscow's Innovation Cluster.” Soon the bill will be submitted for consideration to the Moscow City Duma.
The innovation cluster will bring together on one platform business incubators, technology parks, universities, R&D organizations, and IT companies. To join the cluster, interested parties just need to submit an application online.
The draft bill defines the basic concepts, goals and objectives of the cluster, the role of the Moscow Government in it, the legal status of the cluster's participants, and the measures to support them. A dedicated fund will be established to serve the cluster.
The core of the cluster will be an IT platform to facilitate interaction among those looking for project partners or interested in creating a new product or service. The platform will also enable entrepreneurs to work with representatives of local government departments and state corporations and submit enquiries for specialized support.
The cluster will help businesses and scientists join efforts for a powerful synergy. This project is important for boosting Moscow's innovation potential and shaping its innovation ecosystem.
